What’s Happening?

I have worked so hard over the previous months for my Solo Exhibition at Galleri Tapper-Popermajer in Sweden

For this exhibition I am exploring the Stories that we tell and have told over centuries that have become myth, legend, nursery rhymes and fables. These stories become part of our culture, define our morals, help define who are and who we become.

If we want change, how do we retell these stories, which stories do we tell? If we want a different outcome, how do we make our own stories to shape our new future, culture and sets of standards.

In some instances, I have made fun of stories and myths, flipped the actual story that is told to reflect current culture and had fun with many subjects. Whilst being aware of trying to highlight that what we say, see and do makes an imprint and with careful consideration can shape a future with equality, kindness and tolerance.
