Stormtroopin Ned at the Glenrowan fancy dress by Karen Chappelow…I do love to bring icons down to earth and bring them into ridiculous scenarios so Ned Kelly is presented as a Stormtrooper from Star Wars, he’s at a fancy dress-held at the Glenrowan Inn (where the final battle occurred) dressed as a Stormtrooper. I only noticed recently how similar Neds armour and the Stormtroopers is.
With the use of metallics the painting shimmers in the light and from different angles
