Pride can be a good thing showing dignity and self respect but can also be bad as pride reeks of conceit and arrogance. The saying proud as a peacock relates to the males tail which he fans out to impress the peahens…vanity in all of its natural splendour. Today social media throbs with excessive vanity and pride…selfies and the endless quest for the like and the follow is distorting our reality and creating many mental health issues. I wanted to have a bit of fun here
